A Season-Best Performance from Jacob Brown Leads Pine Bush over Warwick

Pine Bush came up short on Thursday despite Jacob Brown delivering his best game to date. Brown rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 75-yard run.

Pine Bush's defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3. Brown and Pine Bush will square off against Newburgh Free Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Sadly, Jemire Bey-Dominick posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Pine Bush over Warwick on Thursday. Bey-Dominick rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries.

This year, Bey-Dominick has run in 3 touchdowns while averaging 54.4 rushing yards per game.

Noah Flores Sets Career High in Rushing Yards

On Thursday, Monroe-Woodbury got the W thanks in part to Noah Flores playing the best football he has all season. Flores rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 81 yards.

The victory for Monroe-Woodbury keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Flores and Monroe-Woodbury will take on Kingston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Ethan Maldonado's big game helped extend Monroe-Woodbury's winning streak to six on Thursday. Washingtonville had no answer to Maldonado as he threw for 109 yards and three touchdowns.
