Basketball Game Preview: West Rusk Raiders vs. Sabine Cardinals

West Rusk hasn't had much luck against Sabine recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The West Rusk Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the Sabine Cardinals at 6:30 p.m.

West Rusk is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Tuesday. They took a 46-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of White Oak.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sabine). They put the hurt on Gladewater with a sharp 87-61 victory on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cardinals.

Sabine's win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-17. As for West Rusk, their loss dropped their record down to 10-13.

West Rusk couldn't quite finish off Sabine in their previous matchup back in January and fell 63-60. Can West Rusk avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
