Poudre entered their tilt with Denver North on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They came out on top against the Vikings by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Impalas also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Poudre won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22.

Their offense was headlined by Brooklyn Brubaker and Maggie Foster, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from McKenna Mehle and her nine assists. Finally, Foster was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.

Poudre's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Denver North, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-6.

Poudre didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Broomfield on the 4th. As for Denver North, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Weld Central on the 4th.
