Volleyball Recap: West Henderson Takes a Loss

West Henderson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hendersonville Bearcats. While the Falcons didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bearcats 25-18 in the first set.

West Henderson took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 18-25, 25-14, 13-25, 25-19, 15-11.

West Henderson's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Hendersonville, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Henderson is set to challenge their familiar foe North Henderson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Hendersonville will take on rival Enka at 5:30 p.m. on the 24th.
