Saturday just wasn't the day for Cinco Ranch's offense. They lost 12-0 to Katy Taylor on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since February 25th.

Meanwhile, Katy came tearing into Saturday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Katy's win was their 31st straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Cinco Ranch, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
