Franklin had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They blew past the Warren Woods-Tower Titans 14-3. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 19 games by six runs or more this season.

Andrew Mullins was a standout: he went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Braylin Bynum, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run.

Franklin always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .657. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in three consecutive contests.

Franklin's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-5-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games. As for Warren Woods-Tower, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 17 of their last 19 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season.
