Volleyball Recap: Apex Friendship Finds Playoff Glory Versus Wakefield + How To Watch

It's playoff time, and Apex Friendship had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against the Wakefield Wolverines by a score of 3-1 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2020.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 20-25, 25-16, 26-24.

Caroline Smith paced Apex Friendship's offense, picking up 19 kills. Smith got some help from Emma Mackie and her 39 assists. Smith was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.

Apex Friendship is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-11 record this season. As for Wakefield, their loss dropped their record down to 12-11.

Looking ahead, Apex Friendship will square off against Green Level at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wakefield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
