Basketball Recap: Polson Skates Past Stevensville with Ease

Polson had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They claimed a resounding 59-31 win over the Stevensville Yellowjackets. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, Stevensville still got an impressive performance from David Beames, who posted 15 points.

Polson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 61-43 win against Fergus on the 14th. As for Stevensville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 73-35 defeat against Whitefish on the 14th.
