Baseball Game Preview: Chippewa Chipps vs. Norwayne Bobcats

For the second straight game, Chippewa will face off against Norwayne. The Chipps will challenge the Bobcats at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chippewa's pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Norwayne's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Chippewa is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Norwayne on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Bobcats by a score of 2-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Chipps in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost eight in a row.

The win (which was Norwayne's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-4. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Chippewa, their loss dropped their record down to 6-3.
