Basketball Recap: Alden Takes a Loss

Alden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 55-33 to the Pembroke Dragons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bulldogs of the 53-34 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Alden's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Pembroke, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Alden and Pembroke will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Bulldogs see the court they'll take on West Seneca West at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026. As for Pembroke, their break will end when they face Perry at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
