Baseball Recap: Denison Takes a Loss

Denison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Anna Coyotes. That's two games in a row now that the Yellow Jackets have lost by exactly five runs.

Denison saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Max Aleman, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Denison's loss dropped their record down to 5-25. As for Anna, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 6-15.

While Denison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
