Heritage can bid farewell to their five-match losing streak thanks to their match on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Arcola Purple Riders. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-0 victory two weeks ago.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Heritage took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-15.

Bree McGarigle paced Heritage's offense, picking up seven kills. McGarigle got some help from Bre Ploense and her nine assists. Faith Latham controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Despite the loss, Arcola still got an impressive performance from Jolena King, who had six digs and one block.

Heritage's win bumped their record up to 8-25-1. As for Arcola, they moved to 4-21 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak.

Heritage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-1 defeat against Argenta-Oreana on the 23rd. As for Arcola, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond on the 23rd.
