Everything went JSerra Catholic's way against Santa Margarita as JSerra Catholic made off with a 5-1 win. Considering the Lions have won eight contests by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Santa Margarita with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Gavin Allegaert (3), Jake Tatch, and Aquiles Rodriguez.

Meanwhile, St. John Bosco has been on a difficult stretch since their win on December 10. They fell just short of Mater Dei by a score of 1-0 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Braves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 415th, while the Monarchs are ranked second).

JSerra Catholic pushed their record up to 12-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those seven matches. As for St. John Bosco, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-13-7.
