Basketball Recap: Hardin County Tigers vs. Jackson North Side Indians
Hardin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt an 83-47 defeat at the hands of the Jackson North Side Indians. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 75-59 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.
Javonte Smith was his usual excellent self, going 10 of 12 en route to 20 points and six boards for Jackson North Side. Another player making a difference was Lincoln Woods, who posted 12 points.
Hardin County's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Jackson North Side, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-3 record this season.
Hardin County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 60-34 defeat against Jackson South Side on the 28th. Jackson North Side has also already played their next game, a 79-55 win against Chester County on the 28th.
