Basketball Game Preview: Rowan County Vikings vs. Wren Hurricanes

Having just played yesterday, the Rowan County Vikings will jump right back in to play the Wren Hurricanes at 3:15 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Rowan County saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 69-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cane Bay. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Wren strolled past Coastal HomeSchool with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 74-55. Given Wren's advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked eighth in South Carolina, while Coastal HomeSchool is ranked 176th in Georgia), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wren's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Rowan County, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.
