Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jefferson Township). They really took it to the Hackettstown Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up a 65-31 victory. With the Falcons ahead 38-15 at the half, the game was all but over already.

It was another big night for Kiley Shatzel, who went 7 of 9 on her way to 18 points in addition to five rebounds and three blocks. Those 18 points gave her a new career-high. Kailey Strauch was another key player, putting up 12 points and five boards.

Jefferson Township's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.5 points. As for Hackettstown, their loss dropped their record down to 4-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Jefferson Township Falcons duke it out with the Morris Knolls Golden Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hackettstown, they will challenge Kinnelon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
