Volleyball Recap: Basic Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Valley last Thursday, Basic came back down to earth. The Wolves fell 3-1 to the Silverado Skyhawks on Thursday. The Wolves have struggled against the Skyhawks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-27, 25-15, 25-23.

Leading Silverado to victory were Xalia King and Addisyn Simbahon. King had nine digs and two aces, while Simbahon had nine digs. That's the most digs Simbahon has posted since back in September. Rai Largusa also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

Basic's defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Silverado, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-13 record this season.

Basic does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Silverado, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Desert Oasis on the 28th.
