Preview: Nathan Hale Rangers vs. Glenpool Warriors
After six games on the road, Nathan Hale is heading back home. They will take on the Glenpool Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Nathan Hale didn't have too much trouble with Webster on the road as they won 68-49. Given Nathan Hale's advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Webster is ranked 378th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Glenpool took their contest at home on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 53-23 victory over Harrah. 53 seems to be a good number for Glenpool as the team scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
The victory got Nathan Hale back to even at 7-7. As for Glenpool, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.
Nathan Hale couldn't quite finish off Glenpool in their previous meeting back in February of 2018 and fell 64-61. Can Nathan Hale avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
