Sunapee is a perfect 3-0 against Hillsboro-Deering since September of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Lakers are taking a road trip to take on the Hillcats at 5:15 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Sunapee and six for Hillsboro-Deering.

Sunapee came up short against Trinity on Friday, falling 3-0.

Meanwhile, Hillsboro-Deering lost 3-0 to Inter-Lakes on Monday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-7, 25-14.

Sunapee's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Hillsboro-Deering, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.

Sunapee took their victory against Hillsboro-Deering in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lakers since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
