Football Recap: Kingstree Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kingstree started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Crestwood. They were beaten by the Knights 50-6 on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Blazers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina football rankings (they are ranked 165th, while the Knights are ranked 49th).

Crestwood's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jordone Gadson, who rushed for 93 yards and three scores on only ten carries. Another back making a difference was Calvin Wofford, who rushed for 134 yards while picking up 7.1 yards per carry.

Kingstree now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Crestwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kingstree will head out to take on Timberland at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Crestwood, they will venture away from home to face off against Sumter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
