Basketball Recap: St. Michael Takes a Loss

St. Michael was the 58-55 winner over Dishchii'bikoh when they last played one another back in January of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The St. Michael Cardinals were dealt an 83-56 defeat at the hands of the Dishchii'bikoh Wildcats on Tuesday. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Michael's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Dishchii'bikoh, with the victory, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Michael will square off against El Capitan at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Dishchii'bikoh, they will challenge BASIS Flagstaff at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. BASIS Flagstaff knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Dishchii'bikoh likes a good challenge.
