Baseball Recap: Apple Valley Comes Up Short

Apple Valley's last matchup with Oak Hills could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Sun Devils lost 20-8 to the Bulldogs. The Sun Devils have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Apple Valley saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isaiah Reveron, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another was Beau Lloyd, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Apple Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Oak Hills, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Apple Valley beat the Bulldogs by a score of 9-4 on Wednesday.
