Volleyball Preview: McBee Panthers vs. Chesterfield Golden Rams        
        
		
             McBee and Chesterfield are an even 5-5 against one another  since August of 2017, but  not for long. The McBee Panthers will head out on the road to  square off against  the Chesterfield Golden Rams  at 6:15  p.m.  on Wednesday. McBee is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
 McBee is probably headed into the  matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Lewisville just ended the team's  six-game winning streak  on Thursday. They took  a  3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lions.
 McBee might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Lewisville: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 28-26, 24-26,  25-23.
  Montana Smith put forth a good effort for the losing side as  she  had seven  digs and two  aces. She has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  aces the last six times she's  played.
 Meanwhile, Chesterfield came into Thursday's   game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They put the hurt on Central with a sharp  3-0 win on Thursday.
 While Chesterfield won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18,  27-25.
 McBee's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Chesterfield,  the  victory  got them back to even at 5-5.
 McBee came out on top in a nail-biter against Chesterfield in their previous matchup  back in September, sneaking past  3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for McBee since the  team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
