Flag Football Recap: Hinsdale South Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hinsdale South can now relate to. They were beaten by the St. Laurence Vikings 39-6 on Wednesday. Having soared to a lofty 40 points in the game before, the Hornets couldn't push the score so high this time.

Hinsdale South's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-8. As for St. Laurence, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 22-4.

Hinsdale South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Laurence, they will square off against King at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Jaguars' defense has only allowed 4.3 points per game this season, so the Vikings' offense will have their work cut out for them.
