Eastern had won five straight home games and Laken Gullett did her part to make it six on Monday. The Eagles came out on top against the Jackson Ironman/Ironladies by a score of 3-1 thanks in part to Gullett, who had 20 digs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game.

Eastern had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-14, 25-23, 25-21.
