Softball Game Preview: Cheboygan Chiefs vs. Harbor Springs Rams

The Cheboygan Chiefs will square off against the Harbor Springs Rams at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Cheboygan will be strutting in after a win while Harbor Springs will be coming in after a defeat.

Cheboygan is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Charlevoix on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Chiefs considering their one-run performance the match before.

The team relied heavily on Jenna Dodder, who went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Meanwhile, Harbor Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 16-0 to Boyne City.

Harbor Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Cheboygan, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-10.
