Volleyball Recap: Mt. Healthy Starts Season with Victory Against Middletown Christian

Mt. Healthy had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Middletown Christian Eagles. For the Fighting Owls, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Mt. Healthy was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-15, 15-25, 26-24.

Coming up, Mt. Healthy will be playing at home against Hamilton at 5:00 p.m. on March 24th. Middletown Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wayne at 5:30 p.m. on April 1st.
