Volleyball Recap: Upperman's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Upperman entered their tilt with Forrest on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. They came out on top against the Rockets by a score of 3-1.

Leading Upperman to victory were Adriana Hayes and Emery Huddleston. Hayes had five aces, while Huddleston had six digs and two aces. Huddleston is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last 29 games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Upperman was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 14 consecutive contests.

Upperman's victory bumped their record up to 28-8. As for Forrest, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Upperman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Meigs County on the 16th. Forrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
