Basketball Recap: Stark County Comes Up Short

Stark County lost against Midland back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Stark County Rebels fell 43-31 to the Midland Timberwolves. The match marked the Rebels' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Stark County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Midland, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-6.

Stark County and Newman Central Catholic will round out the year against one another at at 11:30 a.m. on December 27th. As for Midland, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Seneca at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Seneca has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 195 points over their last three contests.
