Recap: Haltom Buffalos vs. Martin Warriors

The Haltom Buffalos had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against Martin by a score of 54-46. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Haltom also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Haltom's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ashton Moore led the charge by scoring 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Moore has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kuol Atak, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds.

Haltom's victory was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 20-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.4 points per game. As for Martin, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-16.

Haltom will head out on the road to face off against the Volunteers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Martin, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Texans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Sam Houston has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since January 5.
