Volleyball Recap: Wheaton-Warrenville South Finds Home Court Redemption Against Metea Valley

There's no place like home for Wheaton-Warrenville South, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Metea Valley Mustangs by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Tigers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Wheaton-Warrenville South easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18.

Simon Bratt paced Wheaton-Warrenville South's offense, picking up 16 kills. Bratt got some help from Mark Gheorghita and his 21 assists. Finally, Gheorghita was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.
