Softball Recap: Parsippany Has No Trouble Against Boonton

Parsippany won the last time they faced Boonton and things went their way on Saturday too. The Redhawks blew past the Bombers 11-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Redhawks.

Charlotte Inauen was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with one home run and five RBI. Another player making a difference was Olivia Freire, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Parsippany's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Boonton, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Parsippany and Boonton will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Redhawks will square off against rival Pequannock at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Boonton is set to challenge their familiar foe Mountain Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
