Faith West Academy came tearing into Thursday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Varsity Opponent. That three set margin sets a new team best for the Eagles this season.

The win didn't come easy: Varsity Opponent scored at least 20 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-20, 26-24.

Sarah Troxel paced Faith West Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Troxel got some help from Riley Walsh and her 15 assists. Walsh was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.
