Volleyball Recap: M.L. King Takes a Loss

M.L. King was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Miller Grove Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-4.

M.L. King's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Miller Grove, they pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

M.L. King didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Redan on the 9th. As for Miller Grove, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lithonia on the 9th.
