Volleyball Recap: Luther Extends Winning Streak to Four

Luther entered their tilt with Nekoosa on Saturday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Papermakers by a score of 2-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Cara Unke paced Luther's offense, picking up eight kills. Unke got some help from Addie Schaper and her 17 assists. Carsyn Krause controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Luther's victory bumped their record up to 15-8. As for Nekoosa, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-17 record this season.

Luther has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Sparta on the 4th. As for Nekoosa, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Florence on the 4th.
