Basketball Recap: DMLK Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when DMLK took on Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy on Friday. The DMLK Panthers walked away with a 63-56 win over the Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy Lions.

Despite the loss, Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy still got an impressive performance from Jackson Taylor, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 26 rebounds. Taylor's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Dominic Doss, who posted nine points.

The victory got DMLK back to even at 10-10. As for Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

As of now, neither DMLK nor Robert F. Smith STEAM Academy have any future games scheduled.
