Dustin Dunnwoody Game Report: vs Camarillo

Dustin Dunnwoody was unstoppable on Wednesday, tossing five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with one or fewer earned runs. For the season, he has an ERA of 1.30 over 54 innings pitched.

Dunnwoody's strong effort led Royal over Camarillo and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Dunnwoody has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (he's averaged 6.8 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Scorpions have only allowed 3.56 per game this season.
