Greene scored the most points they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell 68-61 to Deposit-Hancock. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Deposit-Hancock this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-59 last Wednesday.

Blake Fortunato continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Deposit-Hancock, putting up 25 points along with seven boards and four blocks. The dominant performance gave Fortunato a new career-high in blocks. Micah Simmons was another key player, dropping a double-double with 14 points and 15 rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Greene and nudges their season record down to 1-12. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points over those games. As for Deposit-Hancock, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Looking ahead, Greene won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Delaware Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Deposit-Hancock does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
