Soccer Recap: Mooresville Snags Eighth Victory in Last Ten Games

While Mooresville's win against South Iredell wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Blue Devils had just enough and edged out the Vikings 1-0 on Friday. Mooresville's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Cameron Cline, who's now up to eight this season.

Mooresville has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-3 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those ten games. As for South Iredell, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8-1 record this season.
