Baseball Recap: Thibodaux Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Thibodaux can now relate to. They came up short against the Walker Wildcats on Friday, falling 12-5. The defeat was just more heartbreak for the Tigers, who fell 2-0 when the teams last met back in February.

Thibodaux's loss dropped their record down to 19-16. As for Walker, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-9 record this season.

While Thibodaux had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
