Grantsville won the last time they faced South Summit and things went their way on Thursday too. The Grantsville Cowboys blew past the South Summit Wildcats 71-27. The Cowboys have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Grantsville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Baylee Lowder led the charge by going 10 for 15 en route to 25 points along with three steals and three blocks. Another player making a difference was Avery Allred, who went 8 of 12 on her way to 23 points and eight boards.

Grantsville was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Summit only racked up nine assists.

South Summit's loss came despite strong showings from Remi Arnout and Emree Woolstenhulme. Arnout posted seven points, while Woolstenhulme scored no points. Emilee Mcnulty also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Grantsville pushed their record up to 20-1 with the win, which was their 20th straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29.1 points. As for South Summit, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 14-7 record.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grantsville will host Ben Lomond at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Grantsville is facing Ben Lomond at the right time seeing as Ben Lomond is stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for South Summit, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Morgan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Summit is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season.
