Recap: Fallston Cougars vs. River Hill Hawks
The Fallston Cougars pushed their score all the way to 65 on Monday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were dealt a 110-65 defeat at the hands of River Hill. Despite running the score up even higher than they did on Friday (56), Fallston still had to take the loss.
River Hill was led to victory by Aiden Igwebe and Braden Sauritch. Igwebe scored 20 points along with seven rebounds and six steals, while Sauritch scored 21 points along with six rebounds and six steals. Sauritch continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Anthony Przyzycki was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
Fallston's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for River Hill, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.
Fallston won't have much time to rest: their next match is against North East at 6:45 p.m. on December 19th. North East comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for River Hill, they will head out on the road to face off against Winters Mill at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
