Basketball Recap: Carlisle Comes Up Short

Carlisle lost against Central Dauphin back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Carlisle Thundering Herd were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 67-66 to the Central Dauphin Rams. The Thundering Herd have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Central Dauphin's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jelani Easter led the charge by going 7 for 12 on his way to 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Khalil Roberts, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine boards.

Carlisle now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Central Dauphin, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Carlisle will host Altoona at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Dauphin will take on Chambersburg in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Central Dauphin is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 73.8 points per game this season.
