Softball Recap: Breckenridge Snaps Three-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

If Breckenridge was riding high fresh off their 16-1 takedown of Camden-Frontier on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Huskies fell 8-5 to the Fulton Pirates on Tuesday. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pirates apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Breckenridge's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-5. As for Fulton, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Breckenridge didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-5 loss against Ashley on the 22nd. As for Fulton, they will face off against Carson City-Crystal at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pirates are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
