Soccer Recap: Calvary Christian Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 1-1 at halftime, Calvary Christian was not quite Berkeley Prep's equal in the second half on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Berkeley Prep Buccaneers by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now lost three in a row.

Calvary Christian's goal came courtesy of Ellie Tobias, who's now up to four this season.

Calvary Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Berkeley Prep, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Calvary Christian will welcome Shorecrest Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Calvary Christian is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.5 goals per game this season. As for Berkeley Prep, they will challenge Indian Rocks Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Indian Rocks Christian also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 4.5 goals per game.
