Basketball Recap: Elfers Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against Inverness Christian Academy back in January, Elfers Christian came back down to earth. The Elfers Christian Eagles took a blow against the Spring Hill Christian Academy Wildcat on Tuesday, falling 85-44. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcat this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 84-31 back in December of 2024.

Spring Hill Christian Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colvin Grob, who posted 18 points. Grob's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Caedmon Johnston, who had 14 points.

Elfers Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Spring Hill Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 11-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.

Elfers Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 56-28 defeat against Inverness Christian Academy on the 10th. As for Spring Hill Christian Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 101-26 victory against Grace Christian on the 7th.
