Basketball Recap: Indian Creek Has No Trouble Against St. John's Catholic Prep

Indian Creek lost to St. John's Catholic Prep back in November of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Indian Creek Eagles strolled past the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings with points to spare, taking the game 64-49.

Indian Creek found their leader in sophomore Stephanie Bunker, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and ten boards. Another player making a difference was Amira Comissiong, who went 5 of 10 en route to 12 points.

St. John's Catholic Prep's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia Bolduc, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave Bolduc a new career-high in boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Catie Power, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds.

Indian Creek's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 7-14.

Indian Creek has already played their next match, a 73-64 victory against Bryn Mawr on the 7th. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-40 defeat against John Carroll on the 7th.
