It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Viewmont ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the Brighton Bengals. The victory was familiar territory for the Vikings, who have now won three games in a row.

Viewmont got a great performance from Jack Owen as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Owen has become a key player for the Vikings: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least eight strikeouts, but 3-11 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Braxton Allred, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs. That home run was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Cash Stump, who went 1-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
