Basketball Recap: Fort Fairfield Takes a Loss

Fort Fairfield lost against Fort Kent back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Fort Fairfield Tigers came up short against the Fort Kent Warriors, falling 62-38. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Maine basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Warriors are ranked 26th).

Fort Fairfield has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season. As for Fort Kent, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-2.

When Fort Fairfield and Fort Kent next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Fort Fairfield will square off against Katahdin and their three-game winning streak at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Fort Kent will try to stop Wisdom's 12-game winning streak when the meet at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
