Volleyball Recap: Southeastern Now 3-1 over Last Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Adena, Southeastern was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Huntington Huntsmen. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Southeastern walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-9, 22-25, 25-21.

Kylee Dunn paced Southeastern's offense, picking up 15 kills. Dunn got some help from Lilly Steele and her 18 assists. Steele was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Southeastern is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Huntington, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Southeastern will host Piketon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Huntington, they will take on Fairfield at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
